Greenhouse IPM “In-depth” Hands-on Workshop

2 locations this fall… more locations next year!

NYS IPM has been sponsoring “IPM In-depth” programs on the Cornell Campus for the last 2 years and now we are taking the “In-depth” on the road!

Each workshop will provide hands-on experience on 3 topics –identification of an insect, identification of a disease, and measurement of water and soil characteristics – taught by Cornell and NYS IPM specialists.  (Topics may vary by site so contact the CCE offices or Betsy Lamb for specifics.)

How do these issues relate to your greenhouse?  Bring a sample of your own water to test!  There will be time for disease and insect pest diagnosis so bring samples and ask the experts!

In the afternoon we’ll visit a greenhouse and see how what you learned can be applied in a real world setting.

(3.5 Pesticide recertification credits applied for.)
